Worth knowing that duo queue restricts how far apart your ranks can be, so if you're ordering duo from low elo they have to use an account near yours. Support explained this before I paid rather than after, which I appreciated. Everything went fine once we started, six wins from seven.

Net wins are the pay-per-match version of a boost. Instead of a target rank you buy a number of competitive wins, and an Immortal or Radiant booster plays on your account until every one of them is delivered.
Net means net. A lost match gets played back before your count moves again, so five net wins always leaves you five wins and their RR ahead of where you started.
Net wins fit when you only need a push: a few wins to rank up, to stop a losing streak, or to bank RR before the act ends. You set the budget one win at a time.
Choose how many net wins you want above and set your current rank. The price updates as you go.
A Radiant-level player on your region picks the order up, usually within the hour.
Follow every match from your order page until the full count is delivered, losses played back at no cost.
